:TS: Shatassa Concept/Collab/Basic Ref

Moon drew the lineart for me a while back ago, but I finally got to coloring it. This is Shylina's doppelganger, so when drawn more realistically would have the exact same face as her. This literally took me all day to color, hehnnggg. I have yet to do a finished ref for Shylina too, blegh.

While this character is very evil and very terrifying, I like the idea of combining beauty with terror. So naturally Shatassa is mixed with things I consider beautiful (Maccaw, King Cobra, Betta Fish, and wearing some sort of saree). Things you can't really see here is that her neck can fold open like a King Cobra's and that the sides of her ribs have gills blending in. Shatassa's back is also a treasure-trove of color as it's completely covered in Betta scales. Her snake tail, affectionately named Bossheil, should also realistically have flakes of pretty scales but. . . as I said, I've been at this all day and got lazy by the time I reached the saree. Optional gussy-up for the saree are flower designs all woven and intermingling with each other. Those copper markings are suppose to be reflective and kind of metallic--she has no real reason to hide from her victims because she draws them to her. All markings symmetrical. Arms and legs are very pebbly and rough, but the rest of her body is covered in smooth snake scales.

Bossheil is strong enough to hold up several times Shatassa's full body weight and he makes a great chair for her to sit "elevated" on. Lots of touching and petting. They function so well together you would not suspect the tail of sentience, but the worst mistake you could make is cutting it off of Shatassa expecting to disarm her of it. It will heal itself, growing a whole rest of a body and be your worst nightmare. Normally he is constantly drooling some sort of venom that never stops in production and forms in glands on the roof of his mouth.

Shatassa has the ability to use the Id against you, normally using it to take control of her victims and seduce them before eating them. She is extremely violent with a very sick sense of humor to boot. While seducing is necessary to steal the life-sustaining energy of her victims, she seems more interested in playing with them to their last breath. Any victim that is left alive will be crippled from the inside.
